Star Wars has gone to the dogs quite literally. This VW commercial has the dogs barking up Vadars / Empire theme music . The Great Dane as the AT-AT was nice touch at the end of it. The VW commercial teaser posted on youtube came with this tag "A canine chorus barks a familiar tune. Keep an eye out for our 2012 Game Day commercial—it will all make sense. Love Star Wars and Volkswagen? " Gets the curiosity going doesn't it .

Here is some early Christmas cheer done Sci-Fi style for ya. This first one I saw on Facebook been trying to track down the origen of it but have not so far but still to crazy not to post it anyway. The others are dancing light displays that are pretty awesome. I had to laugh with the Star Trekkin song. I remember when that first came out and thought it was to total Shite but then ended up loving it for its insanity. Enjoy

Edited - I found out that this is actually a float in the Festival of Lights in East Peoria, IL. Check out the Festival of Lights Promo 2010 where the first clip is of the Enterprise float. It still damn cool.

Tales of the Light Side - Vadar at Disney

I could not stop laughing after I saw this video. This promo for the reopening of Star Tours the Star Wars attraction at Disney has Darth Vadar riding the rides in Disney. Hilarious good fun stuff in this one. I have no idea how I missed this one when it came out.

Here is something new that I would like to try for a bit . A weekly or monthly posting of humorous videos , ads , or cartoons that deal with what we here at Scifiology are all about.  My first addition to this new category is something I posted in videos and it is pretty immature as am I at times. But I found extremely funny especially that is has to deal with William Shatner as the old Captain Kirk. Considering he has a reputation of somewhat being into himself  this video  seems somewhat poetic in an adolescent way.  Personally I never know whether that is an act or it is real but I do enjoy when he performs. Billy boy will always be the Captain that started it all and he along with the original crew are the reason we celebrate Star Trek the way we do.  I guess he does have a reason to think his stuff does not smell.
