BBC has announced that they will be holding for the first time in about 30 years the official Dr Who convention on March 24 and 25 at the Millennium Canter in Cardiff. That is in the UK for those geographically challenged people (that includes yours truly) . For those lucky enough to live near there or have the resources to make it this marks the first time like I said before that BBC has created their own convention of Dr Who since the 20th Anniversary (Twenty Years of a Time Lord) in 1983 which was held at Longleat House one in UK. Which Longleat also has a permanent Dr Who exhibition.
I joked about the geographically challenged people in the previous paragraph because for us in the States it’s pretty impossible to get there. But on a side note I really hope that they do what the Creation team did with the Star Trek Convention in Vegas and stream some of the event live from the convention. I don’t see why not they have the tech and resources available to do it. Or at least make a rich special about the event to share on BBC America. Honestly out of the 2 the streaming would be my first choice or even better yet both. Well what ever it will be it will be. I am just looking forward to see who of the Drs other then Smith will show up and what exhibits they will put on display.

Actually, Cardiff is in WALES, not England. The UK is made up of England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Cardiff is in Wales, UK.
Ouch caught in my own sarcastic remark .Guess I am LOL . I stand corrected. Its sometime easy to blur the boundaries of other countries. Especially when you hear England and UK used so frequently together. I will correct that error .
