Star Trek.com , Creation Entertainment , and Tvoop got together to make a rare event available to the masses. The Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas . Its not free . You pay for the shows you want to see but it may be worth the ticket price considering that ticket is huge and most of use will not get to be there in person and you can select the event you want to see and then munch on some snacks.
Personally I think it’s not a bad deal . I figure it this way. That if I had to pay for the flight from Nashville to Las Vegas, get a hotel room , pay for the event tickets , drool and finally break down and get some Star Trek goodies , pay for a photo op that if you make the wrong move , sneeze , give a goofy smile ( like I did with Jeff Combs ) you out 20 to 50 bucks and only thing you got to show is a Picture you hide in your desk , and what ever food and entertainment Vegas sucks out of you . I would probably be living in a cardboard box after that for a good long time. Or close to it.
