Independence Day: Resurgence | Extended HD Trailer #3 | 2016

24 May 2016

Twenty years after the events of the first film, the international community recovers and the United Nations creates the Earth Space Defense (ESD), a united global defense program that serves as Earth's early warning system and the main defense force using technology salvaged from remains of the alien forces, with some military forces assembled on the Moon, Mars and Rhea. However, the aliens were able to send a distress signal to their other battalions before their final defeat while others went into hiding elsewhere around the world.[2] The aliens in deep space received the signal and sent a larger and more powerful battle fleet, threatening the human race once more, this time, with a gravitational machine

We always knew they were coming back. After INDEPENDENCE DAY redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.

21 May 2016

Finally the new frontier will continue on TV on CBS ( Scroll to the bottom to read the excerpt and follow the link to CBS All Access for the rest of that article). I am so phsyced . New adventures , new heroes , new places, new characters and new everything it looks like. For us fans this has been a long time coming and you can tell they have thrown some major $$$$$$$ into this if the title sequence is any clue.

A totally new Star Trek television series is coming in January 2017! The new series will blast off with a special preview broadcast of the premiere episode on the CBS Television Network, and the premiere episode and all subsequent first-run episodes will then be available exclusively in the United States on CBS All Access.

The brand-new Star Trek will introduce new characters seeking imaginative new worlds and new civilizations, while exploring the dramatic contemporary themes that have been a signature of the franchise since its inception in 1966.

Alex Kurtzman will serve as executive producer for the series. Kurtzman co-wrote and produced the blockbuster films Star Trek (2009) with Roberto Orci, and Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) with Orci and Damon Lindelof. Both films were produced and directed by J.J. Abrams.

The new series will be produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout. Kurtzman and Heather Kadin will serve as executive producers. Kurtzman is also an executive producer for the hit CBS television series Scorpion and Limitless, along with Kadin and Orci, and for Hawaii Five-0 with Orci.

The new program will be the first original series developed specifically for U.S. audiences for CBS All Access, a cross-platform streaming service that brings viewers thousands of episodes from CBS’s current and past seasons on demand, plus the ability to stream their local CBS Television stations live for $5.99 per month. CBS All Access already offers every episode of all previous Star Trek television series.

Godzilla Resurgence

12 Dec 2015

"Shin Gojira poster" by Source. Licensed under Fair use via Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Shin_Gojira_poster.jpg#/media/File:Shin_Gojira_poster.jpg

The first teaser from Toho's Godzilla Resurgence do out in July of 2016. This is the first Godzilla film from Toho since Final Wars which was back in 2004 and was a direct response to Legendary's success in the American Godzilla. The teaser itself is simple enough even though its not in English its easy to follow. People screaming and running , shaky camera shots much like Cloverfeield ( God I hope that its not filmed like that ) and a Godzilla roar at the end. No need for translation there I would gather.

The film is suppose to be the first time that Godzilla franchise will use CG's and puppet effects. Much like the Toho's live action version of Attack on Titans . As for the big guy he is to bigger then the American version making him the largest Godzilla yet and he will have no links to the American movie arc. Which means we will have two Godzilla story lines running simultaneously for the first time in franchise history. I am sure the loyals will not complain to much. I know I won't .

11 Dec 2015

The long awaited rumored movie that was off and on again for since I can remember is finally ready for release Memorial day weekend. Bringing the cast from the The X-men reboot back for this one the trailer itself looks really good. My hopes is that Fox does not try to go down the road which they traveled with the Fantastic 4 as many fans of this genre knows was a disaster .

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
