This is the film that I read about where paramedics had to be called in during a screening at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival because some of the scenes were so intensely realistic that people reported fainted and vomited. Curious and not to sure at the same time. But I know many the are into that so this one is for you . I guess.
The film was also screened in the International Critics’ Week section at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival where it won the FIPRESCI Prize and RAW director Julia Ducournau wins Best-Feature-Length-European-Film at for SITGES Méliès d’Argent Award. So it has some critical acclaim to back up the gore. For more on RAWS awards and reviews see the Official Website.
