Openning in theaters December 2015
Not much to say about this trailer except why does it have to be released in December and not now ? There is a wow factor in there that for this skeptic of whether it would be good enough to compete with the earlier films of the epic series has me now salivating for the movie. Yea Disney is behind and yea JJ Abrahams also has his hands in it. But in thinking back Disney has done a wonderful job of letting Marvel flourish and JJ has proven he can do some great things in the Sci fi realm as long as he does not over do and change much of the dynamics of the story . Just think Star Trek 1 and 2 . If he sticks with the story arc of the Lucas era then expanded on by the faithful writers he will be just fine if he stretches into his own image he may run into fan trouble. Thats just my opinion though. I am hoping that the tone and the feel will be very much like the original trilogy which this trailer seems to indicate and not the overproduced second trilogy prequel.
The Force Awakens is set approximately 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, and features three new leads alongside characters returning from previous Star Wars films
